For my latest project, there is a full-on playlist, but this is the one song that really sums up the whole story: Bon Jovi's (You Want to) Make a Memory.

Oooo. Great melancholy feel to that song. I'd love to read a book that captures that tone.
Hmm. I'm not sure my WIP has a song, but I listen to a lot of Florence + The Machine while writing it.
I don't have a theme song yet. I can't really write to lyrics, so I generally pick songs when I'm in the revision stage and need to get the mood of a scene right.
That is so perfect. How do you find such ideal songs for your stories? I wish I had a musical database in my head like you, just so I could pull the exact file for each story like you did for this one.
If that sequel of mine ever surfaces, I think the theme song could be You're a God by Vertical Horizons.

I miss Bon Jovi. I used to listen to them all the time. Thanks for sharing. I have to think about a theme song for my wip. I always listen to music when I write, so I should be able to pick a song.
